DEV01 - Ikonic "Evolution" Dressage Mono Flap Lined Saddle
The "Evolution" monoflap dressage saddle DEVO1 has been entirely redesigned by Ikonic. The saddle tree has been modified and gives even more comfort to the riders while improving correct position with good balance, and the seat is smaller to allow a perfect position of the leg.
Designed for riders to perform their sport at all levels by benefiting from a technically sophisticated saddle made of highly quality materials at a reasonable price.
The flaps are entirely lined with supple leather which offers a very good grip, the monoflap guarantees a close contact with the horse, and the knee pads are designed in order not to hinder the knees.
The large panels allow to distribute the pressure of the saddle and the weight of the rider; they are made of latex, shape memory foam and wool, and they are refillable for a perfect adjustment of the balance of the saddle.
This new saddle is still faithful to the habitual specificities of the brand! Features include:
- Easily interchangeable gullet system for width adjustment.
- Panels refillable with natural wool for perfect adjustment.
- Large panels to distribute the pressure.
- Integrated underflaps including cut-out to improve lateral contact.
- Broad 3-points girthing for correct saddle placement.
- Wide saddle tree opening at the withers to avoid "pinching".
- Colour personalisation on certain elements.
This saddle is provided with three counter girth straps, the first and the second being removable, which allows to choose whether to use the first and the third or the second and the third, and thus to adjust perfectly the position of the saddle in order not to block the horse’s shoulder movements.

Maintenance Care Advice
Ikonic saddles use natural leathers which must be treated regularly with appropriate maintenance care products that provide a cleansing and moisturising effect in order to preserve their beauty and suppleness.
Prior to first use, a new Ikonic saddle should be entirely treated at least twice with Ikonic leather oil. This nourishes the leather and creates a protective barrier which will improve the patina of the leathers to assist with reducing the potential for any excessive wear.
In order to prevent permanent damage to the leather resulting from a lack of adequate maintenance care, it is necessary to regularly use high quality maintenance care products for leather saddles. It is recommended to use leather oil, leather grease and other related high quality maintenance care products specially developed by Ikonic.
For all our saddles with lined flaps, we advise not to oil excessively; it is preferable to use cleaning cream or our glycerin soap, as excessive nourishing supple leathers with oil makes the fibers "swell" and the supple leather will then lose its patina and resistance to wear.
