DEV05 - Ikonic "Evolution" Dressage Mono Flap Lined Saddle
The "Evolution" dressage saddle DEV05 with single flap designed by Ikonic offers optimal comfort and facilitates a good position of the rider toward the center of gravity.
The calflined flaps lining provides excellent grip. The concept of a single flap ensures close contact with the horse and a precise action of the helps.
Like all the Ikonic saddles, the large panels allow to distribute the pressure of the saddle and the weight of the rider. Made from latex, shape memory foam and wool, they are refillable for a perfect adjustment of the balance of the saddle.
A wide pommel opening at the withers avoids any "pinching" and allows greater freedom of movement of the horse's shoulders. Furthermore, the interchangeable gullet system allows to adapt the withers' opening to the morphology of all horses.
The saddle is fitted with a 'V" strapping to ensure evenly distributed traction. A metal D-ring, on the front, makes it possible to add a billet strap.
Maintenance Care Advice
Ikonic saddles use natural leathers which must be treated regularly with appropriate maintenance care products that provide a cleansing and moisturising effect in order to preserve their beauty and suppleness.
Prior to first use, a new Ikonic saddle should be entirely treated at least twice with Ikonic leather oil. This nourishes the leather and creates a protective barrier which will improve the patina of the leathers to assist with reducing the potential for any excessive wear.
In order to prevent permanent damage to the leather resulting from a lack of adequate maintenance care, it is necessary to regularly use high quality maintenance care products for leather saddles. It is recommended to use leather oil, leather grease and other related high quality maintenance care products specially developed by Ikonic.
For all our saddles with lined flaps, we advise not to oil excessively; it is preferable to use cleaning cream or our glycerin soap, as excessive nourishing supple leathers with oil makes the fibers "swell" and the supple leather will then lose its patina and resistance to wear.
